Today is the 1st of April – April’s Fools’ Day, or also known as All Fools’ Day! At Rico Kids, we celebrate this day not only because it’s fun. Why is it called "Fools' Day"?
A fool in the past was a professional Jester. A Jester was historically a performer who entertained common folks at fairs and markets. Most of them had a variety of skills like singing, storytelling, telling jokes, performing magic, juggling, and even doing acrobatics. Most of these activities were performed in a comic style.

1st of April is Rico Kids’ birthday and celebrating it is quite important for our team. But let’s continue with our story. Jester is the old-fashioned word for a clown! And as professional clowns, we deliberately chose this date as our company’s start date. In other words – Rico Kids’ birthday.
