This is a global problem that affects everyone. We are fully aware of this, but it seems that not enough is being done to reverse this harmful change.

How climate change is affecting our lives?

This global problem affects us in many ways. However, some consequences are of vital importance to us.

  • The ice caps are melting, and sea levels are rising. According to scientific research, the sea levels can rise to 200 feet, and more in the future.
  • The air we breathe every day is dangerously polluted. According to scientific research, nearly 9500 people die each year in London because of air pollution.
  • The plants and animals on our planet are already moving their range northward or to higher altitudes as a result of warming temperatures.

What can be done to stop the clime change?

Many people are taking action to stop, or at least reduce, the enormous effects of climate change. However, it’s not just governments or private organisations that can make a difference – each of us can. We can walk or cycle instead of driving, eat less meat, use renewable energy, and support companies that care about the climate.

Plastic pollution

Plastic pollution is a global problem that we can easily stop. Between 1.1 and 8.8 million tonnes of plastic waste enters the oceans each year. At Rico Kids, we recognise this issue and are committed to eliminating plastic use. That’s why, at our parties, you won’t find sweets or toys wrapped in plastic handed out to children. We understand how important it is to reward children, which is why we give out prizes during our party games. However, all our prizes are made from wood and are eco-friendly. We’re proud to do everything we can to minimise and even eliminate the use of plastic products and packaging in our business every day.

The climate change and Rico Kids

At Rico Kids, we recognise the urgent need for global change to save our planet. But we know this can only happen if everyone gets involved! That’s why we’ve chosen to be eco-friendly children’s entertainers in London. What does eco-friendly mean? It means we actively protect the environment by reducing plastic waste at our parties – we don’t hand out sweets in plastic packaging or give out plastic toys. We also primarily use hybrid vehicles or public transport to reach your chosen destination, helping to reduce emissions in London and contribute to a cleaner environment.
